WATCH: Gator emerges from floodwater in Florida

FORT MYERS, Fla. – A north Fort Myers resident captured a video of an alligator lunging out of the water. The resident opened the door of their car, and the gator can be seen biting the car’s tire and door as it emerges from the floodwaters. The video comes as water rescues are underway for the state.

KSP announces helicopter training operations in Muhlenberg County
