Beshear announces 1,509 new COVID cases

File PhotoFRANKFORT, Ky. – Gov. Andy Beshear announced 1,509 new COVID-19 cases as of 3 p.m. Sunday, according to a post on his Facebook account. Another 21 Kentuckians died from the virus and the state’s positivity rate is 8.06 percent. There are currently 1,504 people hospitalized with 411 in ICU beds and 217 people on ventilators.
