Six UK football players charged with burglary, former Bowling Green player involved
BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – Six University of Kentucky football players were charged with burglary Thursday afternoon following a home invasion incident, according to a release by the Lexington Police Department. Hilltoppers, Wildcats draw in exhibition volleyball match
BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – The Hilltoppers and Wildcats split four sets in an exhibition match tonight. WKU won the first (25-18) and third (27-25) sets, while UK won the second (25-23) and fourth (28-26) sets. The match does not count towards any standings throughout the season. Local schools reporting active COVID cases
BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – On Thursday, Governor Beshear confirmed 3,453 new COVID-19 cases in the commonwealth. Of those cases, 892 are under the age of 18. There were eight new deaths confirmed in the commonwealth Thursday as well. The state’s positivity rate is 12.75 percent. Cases continue to rise in local schools as well. Homeland Security employee indicted on federal child pornography charges
BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – A federal grand jury indicted a Homeland Security employee Wednesday on five counts of receiving child pornography. In a federal criminal complaint filed against Jason W. Two died, one injured in Russellville wreck
RUSSELLVILLE, Ky. – Two people died and one person was injured in a head-on collision Wednesday in Russellville. At about 5:10 p.m. Russellville police were called to the 1100 block of Bowling Green Road where they determined that a Nissan Versa and a Chevrolet Duramax hauling a dump trailer collided head on, according to a release from the police department….
