Auburn Police report minimal damage

AUBURN, Ky. — In a posting on Facebook earlier today, the Auburn Police Department stated that, while it is more difficult to see before dawn, it “looks like we got lucky in the Auburn area.”

There are limbs and a few trees down in the city; some power outages have also been reported. Due to the possibility of power lines on the roadway, residents are asked to stay inside unless travel is absolutely necessary.
