Allen County man charged with sexual abuse offenses involving multiple victims during investigation of daughter’s death

ALLEN COUNTY, Ky. – An Allen County man is facing sexual abuse offenses involving multiple victims, according to detectives.

The Allen County-Scottsville Crime Task Force says after reopening an investigation into the death of 7-year-old Revelin Meador, it uncovered additional information involving alleged crimes separate to Revelin Meador’s death.

Detectives say as a result, 31-year-old Farren Meador was arrested on allegations of sexual abuse of multiple victims dating back to 2019.

Authorities confirm the anticipated charges involve allegations separate from the investigation into Revelin Meador’s death.

The Allen County-Scottsville Crime Task Force tells WNKY News 40 that Farren Meador is the biological father of Revelin Meador.

According to the agency, investigators anticipate additional sex-related criminal charges against Farren Meador as separate findings are presented to prosecution.

According to the Allen County Jail website, Farren Meador was booked into the jail Wednesday evening on charges of first-degree rape and incest.

“We sincerely thank the Kentucky State Police, Scottsville Police Department, and Monroe County Sheriff’s Office for their assistance and cooperation. When we say no stone left unturned, we mean it. No case forgotten. No victim overlooked,” the agency stated on Wednesday.
