Accused burglar arrested after authorities say he skipped out of taxi bill

A Brownsville man wanted on a felony warrant for multiple burglary charges has been nabbed after deputies say he failed to pay a taxi bill.

Deputies with the Edmonson County Sheriff’s Office arrested Robert Thacker, 28, after a taxi driver accused him of skipping out of a $125 bill.

When deputies apprehended Thacker, they discovered he had an outstanding felony warrant out of Louisville for burglary, criminal mischief and possession of burglary tools.

Thacker was lodged in the Hart County Jail.
