Fun-tastic Girl Scouts kick-off

BOWLING GREEN, Ky.- On Saturday afternoon, the Girl Scouts of Kentuckiana held a ‘fun-tastic’ Girl Scout kickoff!

From 2-5 p.m., the Girl Scouts celebrated the beginning of their program year for 2021-2022 with a fun afternoon at the Houchens Program Center.

Everyone was welcome to come try slingshots, make crafts, hike, toast marshmallows, sing around the campfire, enjoy the playground and outdoor games, have fun with bubbles and cool off with water play.

Any Girl Scout who brought a friend who registered/joined Girl Scouts earned a special patch.

Girl Scouts who did Early Bird Registration will be entered in a drawing for special prizes.
