Juvenile caught with gun at Beech Bend

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – On Friday afternoon Warren County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to Beech Bench Park for a disturbance complaint in which a firearm had been displayed and its use threatened by a person involved in an altercation.

Upon deputies’ arrival, contact was made with the people who had been involved in the disturbance. The investigation yielded a juvenile to be in possession of the firearm and that the juvenile had threatened to kill an individual during the disturbance.

The juvenile was charged with first-degree disorderly conduct, first-degree wanton endangerment,  third-degree terroristic threatening and possession of a handgun by a minor first offense and was transported to a detention facility.

The incident remains under investigation to determine where and from whom the juvenile obtained the weapon.
