Person injured in garage fire in Bowling Green

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – One person was transported to the hospital today after receiving burns from a fire in their garage.

According to the Bowling Green Fire Department, the person was working in their garage in the 1200 block of High Street when a fire started.

They began trying to save some of their items and obtained accidental burns to their body, according to fire personnel.

The cause of the fire is under investigation and is unknown at this time.

The extent of injuries are unknown at this time, but the person was transported to an area hospital for treatment.
