After back-to-back, double-overtime games, the Predators and Hurricanes head to Carolina for Game 5 of their first-round playoff matchup. The Central Division series is tied 2-2 and the only one in the NHL in which the home team has won every game so far. The Hurricanes are hoping that a crowd of about 12,000 will help them make it five in a row. Although the Hurricanes are a No. 1 seed and were in contention for the Presidents’ Trophy until the last week of the season, they have struggled to put Nashville away. All four games have been within one goal into the third period and beyond.
