ATLANTA (AP) — Matt Ryan acknowledges his age has many wondering how long he’ll continue to lead the Atlanta Falcons offense. He celebrated his 36th birthday on Monday and is preparing for his 14th season as the Falcons’ starting quarterback. He says he doesn’t worry about fans or critics who may be eager for a change at quarterback. If Ryan needed a vote of confidence from new coach Arthur Smith and new general manager Terry Fontenot, it came when the team did not select a quarterback in the NFL draft. Ryan and the Falcons will be looking to end a streak of three consecutive losing seasons.
