COLUMBUS, Ohio (AP) — Ohio State coach Ryan Day says the quarterback competition featuring three candidates will carry over into fall camp. Second-year players C.J. Stroud and Jack Miller III, along with early-enrollee Kyle McCord all got plenty of action in Saturday’s annual spring game, with none gaining an obvious edge. None has thrown a pass in a college game. Day says he saw some good and bad and stressed that the learning process for the three will continue throughout the summer. The Buckeyes open the season Sept. 2 at Minnesota.
