Domestic call ends with arrest

CAVE CITY, Ky. – While answering a domestic call Sunday Cave City police were dispatched to the storage units on Estes Road. Two officers arrived and found a woman alone next to the units.

The woman, identified as Crystal Powell, 41,  had an outstanding active arrest warrant, according to a release from Cave City police.

While searching her property, an officer found what was suspected methamphetamine in foil, according to the release. Powell was placed under arrest and lodged in the Barren County Detention Center.

She is charged with first-degree possession of a controlled substance first offense and possession of drug paraphernalia, according to the release.
