Bomb threat made to local factory warehouse

Bowling Green Police were called Saturday morning to Henkel on Central Avenue on a bomb threat, Deputy Police Chief Penny Bowles said.

"We had officers assist in the search of the plant this morning and didn’t discover anything," she said

Henkel’s corporate office asked for an explosives-detecting dog to search, she said. BGPD doesn’t have bomb dogs and called Kentucky State Police to assist.

Both agencies remain on site searching and the employees have been sent home.

No other information was immediately available.
