Fire Erupts from WKU Thompson Complex

Smoke could be seen rolling from a Western Kentucky University building on Thursday afternoon.

The Bowling Green Fire Department responded to multiple fire alarms and report of smoke coming from the Thompson Complex building on WKU’s campus. Five crews searched the building for the source, including one crew on the roof that checked the heating and air conditioning units.

Luckily, nobody was in the building at the time of the incident. The cause is not yet known.
