Auburn man accused of credit card fraud

A preliminary hearing in a credit card fraud case was scheduled Thursday afternoon in Logan County.

Travis Harold Manning, 21, of Auburn, is charged with one count of fraudulent use of a credit card between $500 to $10,000.

The cardholder reported five fraudulent transactions on his First Southern Bank card totaling $620, according to Manning’s arrest citation.

Manning knew the cardholder and told arresting deputies that he took the card from the cardholder’s vehicle and used it without his permission, according to his Aug. 8 arrest citation.

He is being held in the Logan County Detention Center in lieu of a $500 bond.
