Local hospital plants tree dedicated to the hope for a strong future following the pandemic

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – TriStar Greenview Regional Hospital in Bowling Green planted and dedicated a tree Wednesday in recognition of what is to come following this pandemic.

Greenview representatives said the tree is meant to stand for hope for a blossoming future.

The tree planting ceremony began with music from Crossland Community Church’s worship band.

A few words of encouragement were then said, and shovels buried the roots of the tree in the ground.

Mike Sherrod, the CEO of Greenview, said we are going to have to stand strong during these tough times.

The tree is planted out in front of the visitor entrance to the hospital.
