Units respond to reported fire in Metcalfe County

EDMONTON, Ky. – Details are still developing regarding a reported fire in Metcalfe County on Wednesday.

According to Edmonton-Metcalfe 911, firefighters responded to the area of Highway 163 (Tompkinsville Road) near Cedar Flat Curtis Road for an active fire.

The agency states that as of roughly an hour ago, the fire was still ongoing on scene. Current updates are pending.

The road has reopened to traffic, first responders say.

Drivers are asked to use caution and to consider an alternate route.
