1 injured after vehicle crashes into bridge in Christian County

CHRISTIAN COUNTY, Ky. – The Christian County Sheriff’s Office responded to a crash on I-169 just after midnight Wednesday.

Upon arrival at the Lovers Lane exit, deputies located a single-vehicle collision involving an SUV traveling north.

Deputies say the vehicle entered a median, struck a guardrail, and then crashed into the Lovers Lane Bridge. The vehicle overturned.

The driver was transported by Hopkinsville EMS to a local hospital for injuries.

The investigation is ongoing.
