Traffic congestion predicted ahead of weekend events in Warren County

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – Drivers hitting the roads this weekend in Warren County should be prepared for increased traffic, transportation officials say.

According to the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet District Three, multiple large events are taking place this weekend in the area starting Friday.

This could create traffic congestion in two different areas, according to transportation officials.

U.S. 31-W Louisville Road/the Bypass area and U.S. 231 Scottsville Road near Phil Moore Park will be particularly busy this weekend, officials say. Drivers should expect delays.
