Hope House hosts prayer day open house

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – Hope House held an event Thursday where it allowed people to come and sign or write Bible verses in the new ministry center building.

This is phase 2 of the Hope House Capital Campaign. 

The center will provide classes, counseling, supervised visitation, offices, computer lab, chapel space and more. 

The campaign is still awaiting $900,000 but is about 85% of the way funded at this time. 

Casey Hammons, the director of development at Hope House, says they couldn’t do this without donors and volunteers.

“Everybody’s really excited. We just feel like this is just the next step in whatever God has planned for the organization, and it’s an exciting and big step. It is happening a lot faster than we thought it was going to happen. We thought we were 12 to 24 months out from being able to even start building this building. And then in June, we had a group of 323 volunteers called Constructors for Christ come and start construction on the building. So it’s been a whirlwind and a very exciting series of events,” said Hammons.

Hope House expects the building to be completed in the next 12 months as funding becomes available.
