Girl Scouts group debuts new products, including first allergy-friendly cookie

KENTUCKY – Girl Scouts of the USA has announced two new cookies in its lineup for the 2027 cookie season.

According to the group, the new cookies, developed with BARK and Partake®, will be available exclusively online for shipping only during its next Girl Scout Cookie season.

The organization says Patch Pals will be the first cookie developed just for dogs, while Girl Scout Sparkables will offer the group’s first allergy-friendly cookie.

Girl Scouts of the USA says Patch Pals are soft-baked, blueberry muffin-flavored dog cookies, with each cookie being baked to feature one of four “patch” designs. The cookies will be available for $9.

Girl Scout Sparkables are designed to avoid nine major food allergens, the organization says, offering a crunchy oatmeal cookie with chocolate chips and colorful sprinkles. These will retail for $7. According to the Girl Scouts website, Sparkables will be made without wheat, peanuts, tree nuts, eggs, milk, sesame, soy, crustacean shellfish or fish and are produced in a facility designed to avoid the top nine major food allergens.

Both cookies will be available exclusively for direct shipping starting January 12, 2027, according to the organization.
