1 flown after reported crash in Barren County

BARREN COUNTY, Ky. – One person has been flown for treatment after a reported crash in Barren County on Friday.

According to the Barren County Sheriff’s Office, at about 4:15 p.m., deputies responded to a single-vehicle crash on Cumberland Parkway near the 2-mile marker.

Deputies say a vehicle left the road and overturned several times. Authorities say one occupant, Kori Wade, was involved and was flown for medical treatment.

Deputies say as of just before 5 p.m., the westbound lanes of Cumberland Parkway remained shut down. Drivers should avoid the area if possible and use an alternate route.
