Ohio County Sheriff’s Office investigating shooting, abduction of woman

WHITESVILLE, Ky. – The Ohio County Sheriff’s Office (OCSO) is investigating a shooting incident.

According to OCSO, deputies responded to the 700 block of New Cut Road in Whitesville to a reported shooting Wednesday evening.

OCSO says a man forcibly entered a home and shot an individual “multiple times.”

The suspect allegedly abducted his ex-girlfriend and fled the scene to Daviess County.

OCSO says the investigation is ongoing and a press conference is planned for Thursday.
