Community steps up to support at Mud Happens

ALVATON, Ky. – One annual event is showing that climbing to the top can be rewarding in more ways than one.

Henkel Mud Happens: One Bad Mud Run returned Saturday to Phil Moore Park, where racers tackled an obstacle course to benefit a local nonprofit.

Organizers say proceeds go to support the Family Enrichment Center.

The event included a 3-mile obstacle course, with plenty of fun challenges for racers.

This is the 14th year for the mud run. News 40 will provide an update when the final numbers are in for the fundraiser.
