Detectives arrest 2 men in reopened Allen County sexual abuse investigations

SCOTTSVILLE, Ky. – Authorities arrested two men in connection with separate sexual abuse investigations in Allen County.

Tomes

Brian Tomes, 28

According to the Allen County-Scottsville Crime Task Force, 28-year-old Brian Tomes was arrested on Aug. 19 after detectives with the task force reopened a past sexual abuse investigation. Detectives say new information led to the arrest. According to Tomes’ booking entry in the Allen County jail, he is charged with first-degree rape and incest.

Glick

Titus Glick, 51

Authorities say 51-year-old Titus Glick was arrested on Aug. 18 on an arrest warrant for first-degree sexual abuse after detectives reopened a previously reported sexual abuse case.

Both investigations are ongoing.

The Allen County-Scottsville Crime Task Force provided the following statement:

“These cases demonstrate one of the purposes of the Crime Task Force. We will continue reviewing older and previously unsolved cases, and when the evidence supports criminal charges, we will take appropriate action. Time does not make a victim’s case less important. We want the people of Allen County to know we are doing everything possible to keep our community safe and ensure victims have a voice.”
