Authorities conducting death investigation after body found in Hopkinsville roadway

HOPKINSVILLE, Ky. – An investigation is underway after a body was found in a Hopkinsville roadway.

According to Hopkinsville Fire/EMS, personnel responded to the area of Jessie Avenue and South Walnut Street to reports of an unresponsive individual in the road.

HFDE says crews located a dead male in the roadway.

Authorities believe that the man suffered a medical episode that played a role in his death.

The Hopkinsville Police Department is leading the investigation.
