Authorities investigating death of Hopkinsville folk hero
HOPKINSVILLE, Ky. – A Hopkinsville man, known for his unique dog calls and always being seen around town, has died.
According to WHVO Radio, the Hopkinsville Police Department conducted a welfare check at the home of Hopkinsville folk hero Steven “Birddog” Page on Glass Avenue Friday morning.
Page was found dead inside the home.
Christian County Coroner Scott Daniel told WHVO that the “circumstances concerning Page’s death are still under investigation.”
WHVO says Page achieved cult status in the community and was featured in news media outlets across the country.
The investigation is ongoing.
