1 dead after single-vehicle crash in Christian County

CHRISTIAN COUNTY, Ky. – One person is dead after a crash in Christian County.

According to the Christian County Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded to Butler Road, near Gospel Peace Road, to reports of a collision at 5:14 pm Thursday.

CCSO’s preliminary investigation indicates that a truck was traveling south on Butler Road when it struck an embankment and overturned several times. The driver was ejected from the vehicle.

CCSO says the driver died at the scene.

The identity of the driver has not been released.

The investigation is ongoing.
