Conference USA releases men’s basketball schedule, Tops begin league play Dec. 31

DALLAS — Conference USA has released the full 2026-27 men’s basketball schedule, including WKU’s conference slate for the upcoming season.

With 10 teams in the league, each program will play a home-and-away series against every opponent, totaling 18 conference games.

The Hilltoppers will open conference play on Dec. 31 with a road matchup against reigning CUSA Tournament Champion Kennesaw State in Kennesaw, Georgia. WKU will then begin the new year with another road contest at Jax State on Jan. 2.

WKU’s home conference schedule tips off on Jan. 7 against New Mexico State, followed by a matchup with Sam Houston on Jan. 9 at E.A. Diddle Arena.

The Tops then hit the road for games at Delaware on Jan. 14 and at defending Regular-Season Champion Liberty on Jan. 16.

The Hilltoppers return home for a three-game homestand, hosting Missouri State on Jan. 21, FIU on Jan. 23 and Middle Tennessee on Jan. 30.

February begins with a two-game road swing, as WKU travels to Sam Houston on Feb. 4 and New Mexico State on Feb. 6.

The Tops then return home to face Liberty on Feb. 11 and Delaware on Feb. 13, completing the season series with both programs.

WKU’s final road stretch includes games at FIU on Feb. 18, Missouri State on Feb. 20 and Middle Tennessee on Feb. 27.

The regular season concludes at home with matchups against Jax State on March 4 and Kennesaw State on March 6, which will serve as Senior Day.

The 2027 Conference USA Championship will take place March 9-13 in Huntsville, Alabama, marking the fourth consecutive year the event will be held there.

Season tickets for WKU Hilltopper Basketball are on sale now for the 2026-27 season, with men’s basketball season tickets starting at $75 per seat, plus an additional HAF donation. Priority I-III men’s basketball season ticket prices have been significantly reduced, with Priority I now $300 per seat, Priority II $250 and Priority III $200, each requiring an additional HAF donation.
