Grayson County man sentenced to 7 years in rape case

GRAYSON COUNTY, Ky. (K105) – A Grayson County man has been sentenced after a reported guilty plea to a rape charge.

That’s according to a report by K105.

According to the report, a uniform citation states 33-year-old Korey S. McCord was arrested by the Kentucky State Police on October 3, 2025 on a Grayson County indictment warrant for a first-degree rape charge.

Court documents state the alleged offense was committed on or around October 31, 2022 and November 24, 2022, K105 states.

In April, K105 states the first-degree rape charge was amended to a second-degree rape charge.

According to the report, McCord pled guilty to second-degree rape.

McCord was sentenced to seven years in prison, K105 states.
