Duncan Hines Days generates estimated $2.25 million in Warren Co.

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – It’s official – this year’s Duncan Hines Days brought thousands of attendees to multiple events, bringing an economic boost to Warren County.
According to a Duncan Hines Days Community Impact Report released on Tuesday, an estimate of at least 14,300 people attended at least one of the 24 events that took place throughout the county.
Duncan Hines Days is an annual week held in Warren County that includes multiple events, including the Eats and Beats Music Fest, the Duck Paddle Race and Regatta, Community Bike Ride and more, all to celebrate the local ties of Duncan Hines, a Bowling Green native, and his legacy connected to cuisine.
The report further states those that attended this year’s events were from “at least 15 states,” generating an economic impact of $2.25 million in the area.
This was the fourth year of the weeklong festivities.

Duncan Hines Days is one topic that has made Bowling Green-Warren County a finalist for the National Civic League’s All-American City Award this summer, according to Downtown Development Coordinator Telia Butler.
