Multi-county pursuit crosses into Washington County, ends in arrest

MARION, WASHINGTON COUNTIES, Ky. – A multi-county pursuit on Wednesday resulted in an arrest in Kentucky.

According to a social media post by the Washington County Sheriff’s office, a fleeing subject out of Marion County had a rollover crash on Highway 555, north of the River of Life round-a-bout in Washington County.

Authorities say three people were detained, and minor injuries were reported.

The driver, identified as Talena Brown, was arrested.

Brown remains at the Marion County Detention Center on charges of speeding 26 miles per hour or greater over the speed limit, first-degree fleeing or evading police (motor vehicle), third-degree fleeing or evading police, first-degree wanton endangerment, first-degree criminal mischief, reckless driving, operating a motor vehicle under the influence of a substance, first-degree possession of a controlled substance, first offense (cocaine), drug paraphernalia – buy/possess, first-degree robbery, kidnapping of an adult and theft by unlawful taking or disposition all others between $1,000 and $10,000.

Responding agencies included the Kentucky State Police, Washington County Sheriff’s Office, Sheriff Jerry Pinkston and multiple sheriff deputies.
