Man charged with sodomy, possession of sexual exploitation material of teen

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – One man is behind bars after alleged sexual contact with a minor in Bowling Green.
According to a uniform citation, the Western Kentucky University Police Department observed a suspicious vehicle parked at Lost River Cave around 1:15 a.m. Wednesday.
Authorities say after giving commands to stop, the vehicle attempted to leave before making contact with the driver.
Police say the driver was identified as 27-year-old Almasi Kashindi, while the passenger was 16 years old.
Authorities say upon speaking with the minor, they were notified Kashindi had allegedly had inappropriate sexual contact with the minor as well as receiving sexually explicit photographs from the minor victim.
Police say Kashindi admitted to sexual contact with the victim.
Kashindi remains at the Warren County Regional Jail on charges of third-degree sodomy and possession of matter portraying a sex performance by a minor over 12 but under 18, first offense.
