Local community mourns loss of Gott Fire Department Board Chairman Terry Hendrick

WARREN COUNTY, Ky. – The Warren County Fire Department System is mourning the loss of Gott Fire Department Board Chairman Terry Hendrick.

An obituary by Hardy & Son Funeral Homes & Cremation says Hendrick’s date of death was June 14. According to the department, Hendrick was “a pillar of the Gott community and exemplified the values of selfless service, leadership and dedication to others.”

Warren County Fire says Hendrick previously served the Gott Fire Department as fire chief before he retired, continuing his commitment as board chairman.

“His impact on the fire service and the community he loved will not be forgotten. Terry leaves behind a legacy of service that will continue to inspire those who follow in his footsteps,” the department stated.

A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Hardy & Son Funeral Home, Bowling Green Chapel, with burial in Bethel Cemetery.

Visitation is until 8 p.m. on Tuesday and 10 a.m.-1 p.m. Wednesday, according to the obituary.
