Warren County proclamation honors former security officer Johnny Bullington

WARREN COUNTY, Ky. – Warren County is honoring former county security officer Johnny Bullington following his retirement.
According to a social media post by the Warren County Sheriff’s Office, on Thursday morning during fiscal court, a proclamation from Judge Executive Doug Gorman was read honoring Bullington.
The sheriff’s office says Bullington served as a court security officer with the WCSO from February 2023 until March 26, 2026.
During this time, the proclamation states he “ensured the safety of judges, court staff and the public by screening visitors for weapons, patrolling perimeters, conducting courtroom searches and maintaining order during proceedings.”
In addition, the proclamation states even while experiencing a serious illness, he showed “remarkable resiliency, strength and courage.”
“We are very thankful for his time and service with the sheriff’s office but are grateful for his health and ability to enjoy a chapter of retirement! Congratulations, Johnny, we miss you!” the sheriff’s office states.
