2 suspects in Franklin shooting incident charged with attempted murder

FRANKLIN, Ky. – Two suspects are in custody after a shooting incident in Simpson County.

According to the Franklin Police Department, officers responded to 4391 Nashville Road to a shots-fired complaint at 3:09 am on Wednesday.

Detectives say the suspects fled the scene before officers arrived.

FPD’s preliminary investigation identified Iranyibutse Simon and Asdulwasah Adbulkader as suspects in the incident.

Detectives obtained a warrant for Simon and Adbulkader.

FPD says detectives were notified at 1:40 pm this afternoon that Simon and Adbulkade were arrested by the Bowling Green Police Department.

Both are charged with wanton endangerment 1st degree-discharge of a firearm, attempted murder- domestic violence and attempted murder.
