2 dead in fatal Clinton County house fire

ALBANY, Ky. – A fatal house fire claimed the lives of two in Clinton County.

According to the Clinton County Sheriff’s Office, first responders received a dispatch to a structure fire at 1120 Koger Mountain Road in Albany on Wednesday morning.

When the Albany Fire Department and Clinton County EMS arrived at the home, two individuals were located in the rear bedroom. Both victims were pronounced dead at the scene.

The Clinton County Sheriff’s Office and the Kentucky State Fire Marshal’s Office have launched an investigation into the cause of the fire.

No foul play is suspected at this time, according to the release.

The identities of the victims have not been determined.

The investigation is ongoing.
