Russellville man charged with rape, sodomy

RUSSELLVILLE, Ky. – A Russellville man is facing multiple charges, including rape.

According to a uniform citation, the Russellville Police Department received a sexual assault complaint on March 19.

According to police, the victim reported the sexual assault occurred on a previous day.

After interviewing the victim, police say they executed a search warrant on a residence. During this time, authorities say they located and seized multiple electronic devices from the residence.

Forty-three-year-old Tony Key of Russellville was arrested and transported to the Logan County Detention Center on a $25,000 cash bond.

He faces charges of first-degree unlawful imprisonment, first-degree rape, first-degree sodomy, first-degree strangulation (domestic violence related), fourth-degree assault (domestic violence, minor injury), sexual crimes against animals, video voyeurism, drug paraphernalia – buy/possess and first-degree possession of a controlled substance, first offense (drug unspecified).
