Bowling Green man charged with sexual abuse of child

BENTON, Ky. – A Bowling Green man has been apprehended in Marshall County in an alleged child sexual abuse case.

According to a uniform citation, 37-year-old Dustin Scott of Bowling Green turned himself in to the Marshall County Sheriff’s Office on Friday due to an active indictment warrant.

Scott faces a charge of first-degree sexual abuse, victim under 12 years of age.

According to court records, Scott “committed the offense” on or around July 2, 2020 by “inappropriately touching” a child.

Scott was lodged at the Marshall County Detention Center.
