Fatal Crash

GLASGOW, Ky. – A juvenile is dead after sustaining injuries in a Glasgow crash earlier this month.

According to a release by the Kentucky State Police on Wednesday, the juvenile that was an occupant in a vehicle died Tuesday, March 17 due to his injuries. That juvenile’s name has not been released.

Authorities say at 5 p.m. on March 6, troopers received a call about an injury collision near the intersection of Scottsville Road and Austin Tracy Road in Glasgow.

Troopers say a preliminary investigation found a vehicle operated by 37-year-old Jamie Morgan of Scottsville was traveling south on Scottsville Road when a deer entered the roadway. Morgan’s vehicle then crossed the center line, colliding with an SUV driven by 35-year-old John Furlong of Glasgow.

Authorities say the juvenile, an occupant of Morgan’s vehicle, died due to his injuries while at Vanderbilt University Medical Center.
