Lawrence County man charged with child sexual exploitation offenses following internet investigation

LOUISA, Ky. – A Lawrence County man is charged with child sexual exploitation offenses following an internet investigation by the Kentucky State Police.

According to a release, the Kentucky State Police (KSP) Electronic Crime Branch arrested 26-year-old Christopher Alan Price on charges related to a child sexual abuse material investigation on Thursday.

KSP says Price allegedly distributed sexually explicit images of juveniles online.

A search warrant was obtained and served at Price’s home in Louisa. KSP seized the equipment used to commit the alleged crimes.

The investigation is ongoing.

Price is charged with charged with one count of sodomy 1st degree, 25 counts of promoting a minor under the age of 16 in a sexual performance, twenty counts of possessing matter portraying a minor under the age of 12 in a sexual performance, eight counts of distributing matter portraying a minor under the age of 12 in a sexual performance, and nine counts of sexual crimes committed against an animal.
