How the partial government shutdown impacts Nashville International Airport

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – The Nashville International Airport is notifying travelers about how the partial government shutdown can impact operations.
According to an update shared by the airport Monday, Transportation Security Administration checkpoints and TSA Pre-Check are fully operational, with an average maximum wait of “under 10 minutes.”
The airport additionally states Customs and Border Protection is “conducting Global Entry interviews only from Monday through Friday, between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m.” According to the airport, no interviews will happen on weekends.
United States citizens with Global Entry can use the Enhanced Passenger Processing system, the airport states, while all non-U.S. residents with Global Entry are required to go through standard screening for non-residents.
Nashville International Airport further states it is maintaining communication with affected agencies and airlines to remain updated on any impacts for passengers.
