Warren Central High School names Kenneth Davidson as head football coach

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. — Warren Central High School is proud to announce the hiring of Kenneth “Kenny” Davidson as the new Head Football Coach of the Dragons football program.
Coach Davidson returns home to Warren Central, where he is a proud alumnus. His deep connection to the school as well as the community, experience in program building, made him an outstanding choice to lead the Dragons moving forward.
Davidson began his coaching career at Moss Middle School, where he quickly developed a reputation for mentoring young athletes and helping build a strong football foundation at the middle school level. He later served as an assistant coach at Warren Central High School, where he gained valuable experience working within the Dragons football program.
He also spent time on the coaching staff at South Warren High School, where he was part of the program during its historic state championship run in 2019. Most recently, Davidson has been coaching at Seneca High School in Louisville, where he continued developing student-athletes both on and off the field.
“Coach Davidson embodies the values and tradition of Warren Central football,” said school leadership. “His passion for the game, commitment to student-athletes, and connection to this community make him the ideal leader for our program.”
Davidson expressed excitement about returning to his alma mater: “I am excited to come home. My family and I are grateful for this opportunity to be a part of the Dragon Family. I plan to bring a sense of leadership, passion, and experience to our student-athletes and our community.”
“It’s truly an honor to come back to Warren Central and lead a program that means so much to me,” Davidson said. “I’m grateful for the opportunity and look forward to building strong relationships with our players, staff, and community as we continue the proud tradition of Dragon football.”
