Law enforcement responds to fatal crash in Ohio County

UPDATE (8:25 pm) – The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet says the eastbound lanes of the Western Kentucky Parkway and KY 604 have reopened. The westbound lanes of WK Parkway from Ohio County are expected to be blocked for two to three hours.

OHIO COUNTY, Ky. – The Ohio County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a fatal crash.

According to a social media post, OCSO responded to the crash at the 67-mile marker on the Western Kentucky Parkway on Thursday afternoon.

OSCO says the parkway is expected to be closed for 8 hours.

Detours are established, according to the post.
