Outdoor warning siren maintenance scheduled in Barren Co. through Thursday

BARREN COUNTY, Ky. – While the statewide tornado drill is scheduled for Wednesday morning in Kentucky, Barren County emergency officials say outdoor warning siren maintenance is taking place through Thursday, March 5.
Throughout Barren County, residents should be prepared to hear test activations between 8 a.m. and 3 p.m. on Wednesday and Thursday, according to Glasgow/Barren County Emergency Management.
However, statewide, communities will likely hear the statewide tornado drill taking place at 9:07 a.m. CST.
Barren County emergency officials say the testing in its county, which began Tuesday, is part of routine maintenance.
The annual statewide drill and Barren County’s maintenance are only tests.
