Kentucky State Police conducting death investigation in Hart County

HORSE CAVE, Ky. – The Kentucky State Police says it is conducting a death investigation in Hart County.

Authorities say around 1:30 p.m. on Feb. 14, troopers received a call regarding an unresponsive male. Troopers say they arrived at a residence in the 200 block of Vial Street and located the unresponsive male, later identified as 46-year-old John Ray of Horse Cave.

Ray was flown to the University of Louisville Hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries.

Further details have not yet been released.

The investigation is ongoing.
