Elkton man facing drug charges after causing disturbance at gas station

GUTHRIE, Ky. – An Elkton man faces criminal charges after allegedly jumping on a counter at a business.
According to a release, the Todd County Sheriff’s Office responded to Favorite Lotto in Guthrie Friday evening to reports of a man acting erratically inside the business.
The suspect, 38-year-old Christopher Seiber, of Elkton, allegedly jumped on the counter at the business.
Deputies at the scene say Seiber was agitated and non-compliant.
During a struggle, a taser was deployed and pepper spray was used to apprehend Seiber.
TCSO says Seiber was transported and lodged at the Todd County Jail.
Seiber is charged with possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine), public intoxication, resisting arrest, disorderly conduct 2nd degree, possession of an alcoholic container in a motor vehicle and obstruction/interference with an officer.
The investigation is ongoing.
