The SKYPAC announces dates for 2026 Concerts in the Park
BOWLING GREEN, Ky. — It might still be cold, but one summer tradition is on the horizon.
The Southern Kentucky Performing Arts Center has announced the 2026 dates for Concerts in the Park, Bowling Green’s beloved free summer music series. Each concert date falls on a Friday night at Circus Square Park, spanning from June through August, including the following:
- June 12, 19, and 26
- July 10, 17, 24, and 31
- Aug. 7, 14, 21, and 28
If a concert is canceled due to weather, SKYPAC says it has secured Sept. 4 and Sept. 11 as designated make-up dates at Circus Square Park.
SOKY Marketplace is no longer a designated rain date location, organizers say.
For almost 50 years, Concerts in the Park has been a summer staple for the Bowling Green community, originating in 1979 under the direction of the Downtown Redevelopment Authority. Thousands of people from across the region, along with visitors to downtown Bowling Green, show up for the free event in historic Circus Square Park.
SKYPAC says it looks forward to keeping this tradition alive as it takes on official leadership for 2026 and beyond.
Audiences can expect a vibrant mix of regional and national acts, local food vendors and family-friendly entertainment, all free to the public, organizers say.
Band and vendor applications be be found here.
The series is made possible through the generous support of local sponsors and community partners, including the City of Bowling Green, Bowling Green Parks & Recreation, presenting sponsor Flora Templeton Stuart Accident Injury Lawyers, Lindsey Production Group, Franklin Bank & Trust, J.C. Kirby & Son Funeral Chapels and Crematory, The Mint Gaming Hall, and countless local businesses and volunteers.
