Estimated 35% of residents without power in Allen County, says judge executive

SCOTTSVILLE, Ky. – A large power outage has left many without power in Allen County.

Judge Executive Dennis Harper, in a video released on social media, says an estimated 35% of homes are currently without power.

Harper says Tri-County Electric Membership Corporation and NCTC powered by Warren RECC are working around the clock to restore power to homes.

Restoration has been slow due to downed trees.

Some citizens may not have power at their residences for a week to 10 days, according to Harper.

Harper says he is proud of first responders, law enforcement and road crews for their quick responses.

15 to 20 generators have been provided to citizens.

Harper says a warming center is available and can be reached by calling 270-237.4745.

Outages can be reported to Tri-County by calling 800-369-2111 or texting 615-374-2986.

In case of emergency, call 911. For all non-emergencies, call 270.237.3611.
